When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 31 via the RSVP button on this website. You can edit your RSVP at any time even after you have submitted.

If you need to change your RSVP closer to the wedding date, please reach out directly to the bride, groom, or family to let us know your plans have changed!

Where should I stay?

We have hotel blocks downtown at four hotels. We strongly recommend staying downtown for convenience and shuttle access. We will be staying at The Tennesseean, which is within walking distance to all hotel blocks.

Please book by April 1 to ensure availability. If you do not book by the deadline, don’t worry - there are many hotel options downtown!

Can I bring a plus one?

If you have been given a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation envelope and in your RSVP form. Otherwise, the guests invited to attend are listed on your invitation envelope.

Where is the venue?

The venue is a private residence roughly 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville.

When is the wedding?

Please arrive by 5pm. Ceremony begins promptly at 5:30pm and reception ends at 10:30pm.

When should I arrive at the venue?

The shuttles will ensure you arrive with ample time to get settled before the ceremony. If you are self-parking, we recommend arriving by 5pm to ensure adequate time to park and walk to the ceremony area.

Can I park at the venue?

Parking will be available for local guests at a neighboring home a short distance away that has space to accommodate roughly 25 cars. The exact address will be provided in April.

There will be no parking for guests at 8504 Badgett Road to ensure we have room for shuttle pick up and drop off.

Where can I see more about shuttles & parking?

Shuttle locations and times will be added in April. Shuttles will run before the ceremony at specified times, and one shuttle will resume service to downtown after the cocktail hour for anyone needing to leave early.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held on the grass lawn. The cocktail hour will be held inside the home. The lawn is flat and there are no stairs, but there will be some walking required. If you need any accommodations or have any concerns, please reach out to the bride, groom or family.

What should I wear?

The dress code for the event is black tie optional. We want everyone to look and feel their best! For men, a suit and tie of any color or tuxedo is fine. For women, think long dresses or midi dresses - colors and florals are perfect.

Since the ceremony and reception are on grass, block heels and outdoor-friendly dress shoes are recommended. Weather in late spring is unpredictable, so you may want to bring a light jacket or shawl.

What is the weather like?

May weather is considered late spring in Knoxville and can be unpredictable. Expect a high in the 70s or 80s and a low in the 50s or 60s at night. May can also be rainy, so you may want to bring an umbrella or rain jacket.

In the event it rains on the wedding day (fingers crossed for sun!), we will hold our ceremony under the reception tent.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

If you or your party have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know on your RSVP. We will be serving a meat entree at our reception and will have vegetarian options available upon request. We have cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and desserts that will be served throughout the evening.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We will have an open bar with beer, wine, spirits, and signature cocktails.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are registered at Bloomingdale’s and Williams Sonoma on the ‘Registry’ page.

Are there other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

There will be a rehearsal at the venue at 4pm. on Friday followed by a rehearsal dinner at 5:30pm for the wedding party at the Oliver Royale. For our long-distance guests, we will host an intimate welcome party at 8pm on Friday.
